Join us as we prepare meals for kids and for our innovative meals programs. Dare to Care will need to produce the meals each week to feed our neighbors in need. No need to be a chef or master in the kitchen--we'll teach you everything!
This volunteer opportunity and volunteer attendance are crucial to operations and feeding our clients. If you are unable to make a volunteer shift, please unregister in Galaxy Digital, or let Director of Volunteer Engagement know ASAP (elaine@daretocare.org / 502-736-9963). A No-show without notification can result in removal from future volunteer shifts.
Volunteer duties may include:
- making sandwiches
- vegetable and fruit prep
- adding pre-portioned food into divider trays
- sealing freshly prepared food into trays on our tray line (we'll teach you how to use our Oliver Speedseal machines)

- other special kitchen duties
REQUIREMENTS:
