Shifts
The following 3 positions are needed every Thursday 12:30PM – 4:00PM
Neighbor registration: (1-2 people) Greet neighbors and welcome inside. Gather neighbors’ statistic information. Send neighbors to Hall monitor at appropriate times.
Store workers: (2-3 people) Greet neighbors and direct the flow of shopping inside the store. Instruct neighbors on the number of items that can be shopped for. Stock shelves as needed.
Hall monitor: (1-2 people) Greet and receive neighbors from the waiting area. Accept neighbor’s numbered tickets and seat them. Send neighbors inside the store to shop. Communicate with registration on how many neighbors to send to the hall.
Unloaders: (2 people) Every Wednesday from 12:00 to 3:00 PM. Unload Weekly Dare to Care orders from pickup truck. Stock and sort shelves. Volunteers must be able to lift over 20 pounds.
Movers: (4-5 people) 2nd Tuesday of each month. Move inventory from pallets (DTC monthly delivery) to the store and stock room. Volunteers must be able to lift over 20 pounds.
Movers: (1-2 people) Last Tuesday of every month 12:30 – 3:00 PM- Bring commodity boxes from outside pallets (DTC delivers) to storage and move leftovers from Dare to Care drive though to pantry. Volunteers must be able to lift over 20 pounds.
Inventory Workers: (2-3 people) Second Mondays of every month. Move inventory from stockroom to the store in preparation for DTC order the following day. Volunteers must be able to lift over 20 pounds.
