Distribute food boxes to seniors at Yorktown Senior Apartments

Description

Dare to Care delivers food boxes to low-income seniors at Yorktown Senior Apartments each month. While we will bring the food onsite, we'll need help distributing the food boxes to each client.

Volunteers may use shopping carts or other wheeled storage in order to take food boxes to each client. There is an elevator in the building. Food boxes weigh about 25-30 pounds each. In the event there is not a cart available, boxes are expected to be carried at volunteer's comfort level.

Dare to Care's truck will arrive between 9:15a-9:30a every 2nd Thursday morning. Volunteer opportunity will last about 2 hours Volunteers can check-in via their phone app. Dare to Care team members will have on logoed clothing. Please wear closed toe shoes.

Masks are currently optional for all volunteers.
